Ingredients:
- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Cherry tomatoes (for garnish)
- Fresh herbs like basil or cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.
2. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop the avocado flesh into a bowl.
3. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, and chili flakes to the avocado. Mash the mixture with a fork until smooth.
4. Spread the avocado mixture evenly on the toasted bread.
5. Slice the cherry tomatoes and place them on top of the toast for garnish.
6. Sprinkle fresh herbs over the toast.
