A delicious and quick lunch or snack option with a flavorful tuna and pineapple filling. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 can tuna- 1/2 can crushed pineapple
- 8 slices of cheese
- 8 slices of bread
- 3-4 tablespoons ketchup or tomato paste
- Cream cheese
- Pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Drain the tuna and crushed pineapple well.2. In a bowl, mix the tuna, pineapple, ketchup or tomato paste, cream cheese, and pepper.
3. Spread the mixture on four slices of bread.
4. Top each filled slice with a slice of cheese.
5. Toast the sandwiches in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 5-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is golden.
6. Serve warm.
