A classic Swedish dish featuring creamy shrimp on toasted bread.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g shrimp, peeled
- 2 slices of bread
- 50 g mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
- Lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat butter in a pan and toast the bread slices on both sides until golden brown.
2. Chop the peeled shrimp finely. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and chopped dill.
3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to your taste.
4. Spread the shrimp mixture onto the toasted bread slices.
5. Garnish with lemon wedges and additional dill if desired.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
