Ingredients:
- 400 g Wagyu beef
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil (e.g., canola oil)
- 2 tablespoons wasabi mayonnaise
- 100 ml Dashi broth
- Fresh herbs (e.g., cilantro or chives) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Take the Wagyu beef out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking.
2. Season the meat with salt and black pepper.
3. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Sear the beef for about 1-2 minutes on each side until it develops a nice golden-brown color but remains red inside.
5. Remove the meat from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
6. Slice the meat into thin pieces.
7. Arrange the slices on a plate and serve with wasabi mayonnaise and Dashi broth.
8. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
