Ingredients
- 1.5 cups fresh cucumber, diced- 240 g beef tenderloin, sliced thin
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 3-4 sprigs parsley
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups brown sauce
- Clarified butter or ghee
- Fleur de sel, to taste
- ½ cup cream
- 1.5 cups onion, diced
- 1 small clove garlic
- 1.5 cups mixed mushrooms, diced
Instructions
1. Slice the beef tenderloin into thin strips and season with black pepper.2. Heat clarified butter or ghee in a pan over medium heat and add the onions. Sauté until the onions are soft.
3. Add the beef strips to the pan and cook until they are nicely browned.
4. Stir in the garlic, thyme, parsley stems, and mixed mushroom cubes. Continue cooking for a few more minutes.
5. Pour the brown sauce into the pan and mix well, allowing it to heat up.
6. Stir in the cream and diced cucumber. Season with fleur de sel and more black pepper if needed.
7. Let it simmer on low heat for a few more minutes.
8. Serve warm, ideally with potatoes or rice.
