Serving Size: 2-3 servings
Ingredients:
- 1-2 tablespoons sour cream or cream
- 1-2 teaspoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 100 ml water
- 2-3 teaspoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- ½ onion, chopped
- ½ pickled cucumber, diced
- 200 g beef steak, cut into cubes or strips
- 2 tablespoons flour
- A pinch of white pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. Cut the beef into small cubes or strips against the grain.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion.
3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the oil and margarine.
4. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until soft.
5. Add the beef to the pan and cook until browned.
6. Stir in the flour and cook for a moment longer.
7. Add the water, tomato paste, mustard, salt, and white pepper. Mix well.
8. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, until the meat is cooked through.
9. Finally, add the sour cream or cream and diced pickled cucumber. Stir and heat through briefly.
10. Serve with potatoes or rice.
