Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread (e.g., toast or ciabatta) - Butter for spreading on the bread
- 1 ripe avocado
- 4 slices of bacon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves
- Lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Cook the bacon slices in a skillet until crispy. Remove and place them on paper towels to drain excess fat. 2. Spread butter on the bread slices and lightly toast them in the skillet or toaster.
3. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork and season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
4. Spread the mashed avocado on the toasted bread slices.
5. Layer the crispy bacon and lettuce on top.
6. Top with another slice of bread and cut in half if desired.
