Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Let the cake cool before serving. Optionally, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar or top it with whipped cream.
