Ingredients:
- 250 ml Guinness beer - 250 g butter
- 75 g cocoa powder
- 400 g sugar
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 150 ml sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.2. In a saucepan, heat the Guinness and butter until the butter melts. Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
3. In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Combine the Guinness-butter mixture with the egg mixture. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix well.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through.
7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
