Description: This creamy potato bake is the perfect side dish for any meal and is easy to prepare in the oven.

Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl milk
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g., Emmental or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter for greasing the baking dish
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.
3. In a saucepan, heat the cream and milk, adding the garlic, salt, and pepper. Allow the mixture to warm up but do not let it boil.
4. Grease a baking dish with butter. Layer the potato slices in the dish.
5. Pour the cream and milk mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle the grated cheese evenly on top.
6. Bake in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 45 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Let it cool for a moment before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
