This delicious rye bread is a perfect addition to your breakfast table or as a snack. The bread is moist and full of flavor, and it can surely be made in your home kitchen. Preparation Time: 3 hours (includes rising)
Serving Size: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 500 g rye flour
- 300 ml water
- 10 g salt
- 15 g fresh yeast
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast and honey in warm water in a bowl.
2. Gradually add the salt and rye flour while mixing.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is elastic.
4. Add the oil and knead for a little longer.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1.5 hours.
6. Knead the dough again and shape it into a loaf.
7. Allow the loaf to rise for another 30 minutes.
8. Bake the bread at 220°C (428°F) for about 30-35 minutes, until the surface is beautifully brown.
