A quick and easy fresh bread recipe, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 300 ml warm water
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 packet (about 11 g) dry yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
1. Warm the water until it is lukewarm.
2. In a bowl, mix together the dry yeast, sugar, and salt.
3. Add the warm water and oil to the dry ingredients.
4. Gradually incorporate the all-purpose flour and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
7. Allow the loaf to rise for an additional 15 minutes.
8. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 220 °C (428 °F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped on the bottom.
9. Let the bread cool before slicing.
