Creamy Chicken Pasta

A delicious and quick weeknight meal that the whole family will love. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken strips
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml chicken stock
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
3. Add chicken strips to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Pour in the cream and chicken stock over the chicken. Stir well and let the sauce simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and mix. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little reserved cooking water.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
