Crispy chicken bites are a delicious and easy dish, perfect for snacking or as a main course. This recipe utilizes leftover cooked chicken pieces that are breaded and fried until crispy.

Ingredients

- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 500 g cooked chicken pieces (e.g., chicken thighs)
- 1 dl cooking oil (for frying)
- 2 slices of white bread
- 1 egg

Instructions

1. Prepare the chicken: Remove bones and skin from the cooked chicken pieces. Cut the meat into smaller pieces.
2. Prepare the breading: Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk lightly. Crush the bread into fine crumbs and place in another bowl. Pour the flour into a third bowl.
3. Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
4. Take the chicken pieces and dip them first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the bread crumbs.
5. Fry the breaded chicken pieces in the hot oil for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Turn them as needed.
6. Remove the cooked chicken pieces and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
7. Serve warm with a dip or salad.
