Serving Size: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 300 g macaroni - 400 g sausage (e.g. ring sausage)
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (400 g)
- 2 dl water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain. 2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Dice the bell pepper.
3. Heat the oil in a large pot and sauté the onion and garlic for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the diced sausage and cook until browned.
5. Add the bell pepper and cook for a few more minutes.
6. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and water. Season with salt, black pepper, oregano, and chili powder.
7. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
8. Stir in the cooked macaroni and mix well. Heat for a moment longer.
9. Serve warm.
