Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the sugar. Allow to cool slightly.
4. Add the eggs one at a time to the mixture, stirring well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and stir until fully combined.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting.
