Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the chocolate-butter mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, vanilla sugar, and salt, and gently fold the mixture until combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is set but still moist in the center.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. It pairs wonderfully with whipped cream or ice cream.
