Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
4. Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture to the egg mixture and blend well.
5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and fold gently until combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Enjoy with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
