Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove from heat and mix in the sugar until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt, and gently fold until just combined.
6. Stir in the vanilla extract and mix again briefly.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
