Serving Size: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 ready-made pie crust
- 200 g ham
- 150 g cheese (e.g. Emmental or mozzarella)
- 3 eggs
- 2 dl cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 dl chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
3. Slice the ham and cheese, and spread them evenly over the pie crust.
4. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them lightly.
5. Add the cream, salt, black pepper, and oregano to the eggs. Mix well.
6. Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese.
7. Bake the pie in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
8. Allow the pie to cool for a moment before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
9. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
