Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 2 chicken breasts
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve some pasta water. 2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips and season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for one minute.
5. Pour in the cream and stir well. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. If needed, add a bit of reserved pasta water to help combine the sauce.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and serve garnished with fresh basil.
