Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken breast fillets
- 200 g mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 dl cream
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips.
2. Slice the mushrooms and crush the garlic cloves.
3. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until the chicken is done and beautifully golden brown.
4. Add the mushrooms and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for a few more minutes until the mushrooms soften.
5. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Add black pepper and salt to taste.
6. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5-10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
7. Serve the sauce warm over pasta or rice and garnish with fresh herbs.
