This refreshing and colorful Vakka salad is a perfect addition to summer meals. It's easy to prepare and beautifully styled for serving. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 150 g mixed salad greens - 1 cucumber
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 avocado
- 100 g feta cheese
- 50 g nuts (e.g., walnuts or almonds)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Rinse the mixed salad greens and place them in a large bowl. 2. Slice the cucumber, red onion, and avocado. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
3. Add all the vegetables to the bowl with the salad greens.
4. Crumble the feta cheese over the top of the salad.
5. Lightly toast the nuts in a pan until they are golden, then add them to the salad.
6. Prepare the dressing by mixing the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
