This delicious pulled pork burger is easy to prepare and cooks in the oven while you get everything else ready for dinner. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 pounds (about 560 g) pre-cooked pulled pork
- Pre-baked burger buns
- Lettuce
- Pickles
- Mayonnaise
- 1 onion
- Canned yellow and red bell peppers
- Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
2. Place the pulled pork in a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake in the oven for about 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender.
3. Chop the onion and bell peppers.
4. Prepare the buns: slice them in half and spread mayonnaise on the inside.
5. Once the pulled pork is cooked, shred the meat with a fork.
6. Assemble the burgers: add pulled pork to the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, onion, bell peppers, and pickles.
7. Top with cheddar cheese and close the bun.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
