Delicious slow-cooked pulled pork served in a soft bun with your favorite toppings.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes prep, 8-10 hours cooking
Serving Size: 6-8 burgers
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg pork shoulder or butt
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 100 ml apple cider vinegar
- 100 ml BBQ sauce
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings as desired
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
2. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the surface of the pork.
3. Place the pork in a slow cooker or oven set to low heat.
4. Pour the apple cider vinegar over the pork.
5. Cook for 8-10 hours at 100-120°C (210-250°F) until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
6. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
7. Shred the meat using two forks.
8. Mix the shredded pork with BBQ sauce.
9. Serve the pulled pork between burger buns with your choice of toppings.
