Description: Tender and flavorful pulled pork, perfect for sandwiches, topped with coleslaw and BBQ sauce. Preparation Time: 12-14 hours (including marinating and smoking time)
Serving Size: Serves 10-12
Ingredients:
- Pork shoulder (about 4-5 kg)
- BBQ rub
- Barbecue sauce
- Buns
- Coleslaw
- Additional BBQ sauce for serving
Instructions:
1. Rub the BBQ seasoning evenly over the pork shoulder. Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
2. Preheat your smoker to a low temperature (about 110-120 °C).
3. Place the pork shoulder in the smoker and smoke for approximately 8-12 hours, until the meat is tender and easily pulled apart with a fork.
4. Remove the meat from the smoker and let it rest under foil for about 30 minutes.
5. Shred the meat using forks into bite-sized pieces.
6. Serve the pulled pork on buns, topped with coleslaw and additional BBQ sauce.
