recipe
Preparation Time: 50 minutes Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 500 g pork (e.g., shoulder or tenderloin)
- 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., parsley or cilantro)
Instructions:
1. Cut the pork into cubes and place them in a bowl. Add hoisin sauce, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
2. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into wedges. Boil them in salted water for about 5 minutes until slightly tender.
3. Drain the sweet potatoes and transfer them to a plate. If desired, drizzle honey over the sweet potatoes and mix.
4. Prepare the skewers: Thread the marinated pork onto skewers. Alternatively, you can grill the pork without skewers.
5. Grill the pork over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, until cooked through and nicely browned.
6. Grill the sweet potato wedges separately on the grill or in a pan until golden brown and tender.
7. Serve the pork skewers with sweet potato wedges. Garnish with fresh herbs. Enjoy!
