Ingredients:

- 1.5 kg beef roast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 200 ml beef broth
- 100 ml red wine
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
2. Sear the beef roast on all sides until browned. Remove the roast from the skillet.
3. Add onions and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
4. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a few minutes.
5. Pour in the beef broth, red wine, soy sauce, and honey. Stir to combine.
6. Add rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
7. Return the beef roast to the skillet and cover with a lid. Simmer on low heat for 4-5 hours until the meat is tender.
8. Serve the slow-cooked beef with your choice of side, such as potatoes or vegetables.
