Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the skillet and stir. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Serve immediately with fresh basil, if using.
