Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Mash the cooked chickpeas in a bowl until nearly smooth, leaving some texture.
2. Add the chopped red onion, carrot, bell pepper, and crushed garlic to the chickpeas. Mix well.
3. Stir in the rolled oats, cumin, salt, and black pepper until a uniform mixture forms.
4. Shape the mixture into four patties.
5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
6. Serve warm with a salad or bread.
