A delicious creamy mushroom pasta dish, perfect for a quick dinner. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (such as spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain, reserving a bit of the cooking water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté for about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour in the cream and let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the mushroom sauce. Add reserved cooking water if needed to achieve a creamier consistency.
7. Grate Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix well.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
