Ingredients

- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 red chili peppers
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Chili powder to taste
- 100 g bacon
- 150 g cream
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g., Emmental or mozzarella)

Instructions

1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Chop the red chili peppers and onions into small pieces.
3. Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy, then remove and set aside.
4. In the same pan, melt the butter and add the onions and chili peppers. Sauté until softened.
5. Add the potato slices to the pan and season with salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Mix well.
6. Pour the cream over the mixture and stir. Top with the cooked bacon.
7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
8. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 40-45 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
9. Let it rest for a moment before serving.
