A simple and delicious tuna pasta that comes together quickly and is loved by the whole family.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 1 can (about 200 g) MSC-certified tuna
- 1 dl cream
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 dl fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little bit of the pasta water.
2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic, and sauté until soft and golden brown.
3. Add the drained tuna to the pan and mix well. Pour in the cream and stir. Heat the mixture on low for a few minutes.
4. Season with salt and black pepper. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the tuna sauce. Allow the flavors to meld for a few minutes.
6. Serve the pasta on plates and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
