A delicious and easy recipe for homemade corn tortillas, perfect for summer days and versatile for many Mexican dishes.

Serving Size: 8-16 tortillas
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Maseca corn flour
- 2/3 cup warm water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the Maseca corn flour and salt.
2. Gradually add the warm water to the flour mixture, kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic. Add more water if necessary.
3. Divide the dough into 8-16 equal parts and roll each into a ball. Cover the balls with a damp kitchen towel.
4. Take a thick plastic bag and cut it open on one side. Place a dough ball between the two layers of the bag and flatten it with your fingers.
5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until they are cooked but not browned.
6. Transfer the cooked tortillas to the plastic bag and cover them with a cloth to keep them warm and soft.
7. Serve immediately or reheat before serving.
