A quick and delicious pasta dish featuring fresh mushrooms, perfect for a weeknight dinner or entertaining guests. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (such as penne or spaghetti)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic
- 100 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Chop the mushrooms and garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
4. Add the garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and stir. Allow it to simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. If the mixture is too dry, add a bit of reserved pasta water.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
