A delicious pasta dish that combines Brussels sprouts and mushrooms in a creamy sauce, perfect for a weeknight meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne) - 200 g Brussels sprouts
- 200 g mushrooms
- 200 ml cream
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta water. 2. Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
5. Add the Brussels sprouts and mushrooms to the pan, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
6. Pour the cream into the pan and stir. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water as needed.
7. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and let it warm through.
9. Serve with fresh parsley if desired.
