This easy pasta pesto dish combines the rich flavors of pesto, cream, and parmesan for a delicious meal that's ready in no time.
Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 100 g pesto
- 50 g grated parmesan cheese
- 100 ml heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. Drain the pasta, reserving about 100 ml of the cooking water.
3. In a bowl, mix the pesto with heavy cream, adding reserved pasta water as needed until you reach the desired consistency.
4. Combine the cooked pasta and the pesto-cream mixture in a large bowl. Mix well.
5. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and season with black pepper.
6. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil.
