A delicious and crispy fish dish that combines corn flakes and refreshing cilantro aioli, inspired by traditional English fish and chips.

Ingredients:

- 500 g cod fillets
- 2 dl corn flakes
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 dl milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Cilantro Aioli:
- 1 dl mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste

Instructions:

1. Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Prepare the cilantro aioli by mixing all aioli ingredients in a bowl. Adjust salt to taste and refrigerate to let the flavors meld.
2. Prepare the Cod:
- Cut the cod fillets into serving pieces.
- Season the fish pieces with salt and pepper.
- For the breading: place the flour in one bowl, whisk the egg and milk in another bowl, and crush the corn flakes in a third bowl.
3. Breading:
- Dip each cod piece first in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat with corn flakes. Ensure the fish is completely covered.
4. Frying:
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the cod pieces for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Alternatively, bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
5. Serving:
- Serve the crispy cod warm with cilantro aioli. You can also add a side of French fries or salad to the dish.
