Delicious finger food where fish is tucked inside homemade tortillas. Perfect for social gatherings! Preparation Time: 30-60 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g fish (e.g., cod or salmon)- 2 dl cornflakes
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 dl milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 4-6 tortillas
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg or arugula)
- Diced tomatoes
- Sliced avocado
- Lime juice
Instructions:
1. Prepare the fish: Cut the fish into small pieces and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.2. Prepare the coating: Crush the cornflakes in a bowl.
3. Make the batter: In another bowl, mix the flour, egg, and milk. Add salt if needed.
4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add oil.
5. Dip the fish pieces in the batter, then roll them in the crushed cornflakes. Fry the fish pieces in the pan until golden brown and cooked through.
6. Warm the tortillas in the pan or microwave.
7. Assemble the tacos: Place lettuce on the tortilla, then add the fried fish, diced tomatoes, and sliced avocado. Squeeze lime juice on top.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
