Ingredients:
- 400 g fresh fish (e.g., cod fillets or salmon) - 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl cornmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 8 tortillas
- 1 avocado
- 1 dl cabbage, finely chopped
- 1/2 dl yogurt
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cut the fresh fish into sticks. 2. Prepare the coating: In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
3. In another bowl, crack the eggs and whisk lightly.
4. Dip the fish sticks first in the egg, then coat them with the breadcrumb mixture.
5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the fish sticks for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
6. Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave.
7. Assemble the tacos: Place fish sticks on each tortilla, add finely chopped cabbage, sliced avocado, and yogurt. Squeeze lime juice on top and garnish with fresh cilantro.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
