Delicious chicken tacos that are quick to prepare, perfect for gatherings or family meals. Preparation Time: 4 hours + 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp marinade (e.g. lime juice, oil, salt, and pepper)
- 8 tortillas
- 1 avocado
- 1 red onion
- Salsa (to taste)
- Sour cream or crumbled cheese
- Fresh cilantro
Instructions:
1. Marinate the chicken breasts in the marinade for about 4 hours.
2. Grill or pan-cook the chicken until fully cooked and slice into strips.
3. Quickly warm the tortillas in a dry, hot skillet.
4. Carefully fold the tortillas into taco shapes.
5. Fill each taco with sliced chicken, diced avocado, and chopped red onion.
6. Spoon salsa and add sour cream or crumbled cheese on top.
7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
