A refreshing tuna tartare combining fresh tuna, avocado, and yuzu dressing, served with pickled cucumber and tamarillo for a hearty meal for four.
Preparation Time: 1.5 hours (includes marinating)
Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- Pickled Cucumber and Tamarillo:
- 0.5 dl white vinegar
- 100 g sugar
- 1.5 dl water
- ½ fresh cucumber
- 1 tamarillo
- Tuna Tartare:
- 400 g fresh tuna
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 avocado
- 1 tbsp yuzu sauce
- Dill mayonnaise
- Pickled cucumber
- Pickled tamarillo
- Fresh dill
- Toasted bread

Instructions:

1. Pickled Cucumber and Tamarillo:
- In a saucepan, heat white vinegar, sugar, and water until the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let the pickling liquid cool.
- Peel and chop the cucumber and tamarillo into small cubes.
- Pour the pickling liquid over the vegetable cubes and let them marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours.
2. Tuna Tartare:
- Dice the tuna into small cubes and season with salt and black pepper. Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
- Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and cut the flesh into small cubes. Mix with yuzu sauce.
- Combine the tuna and avocado, and shape into four tartare patties.
3. Serving:
- Assemble the plates: place a tartare patty, a dollop of dill mayonnaise, pickled cucumber, and tamarillo, and garnish with fresh dill.
- Serve with toasted bread.
