Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne)
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 ml chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips and add them to the pan. Cook until the chicken is done and nicely browned.
5. Pour the cooking cream and chicken or vegetable broth into the pan. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. Finally, add the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve the dishes garnished with fresh basil.
