A delicious Finnish dish featuring tender beef simmered with dill and served with boiled potatoes.

Ingredients:
- 1 kg beef brisket
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp baking margarine
- 8 potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 0.5 tsp wheat flour
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 carrot
- Celery root, to taste
- 10 white peppercorns
- 5 dl strained cooking liquid
- Water
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the potatoes, carrot, and celery root. Boil them in salted water until tender.
2. Chop the onion and sauté it in margarine in a large pot until translucent.
3. Add the beef brisket to the pot with the onion and brown the surface.
4. Add the bay leaf, white peppercorns, dill, lemon juice, sugar, and enough water to cover the meat.
5. Let it simmer on low heat for about 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meat is tender.
6. Remove the meat from the pot and strain the broth. Mix the wheat flour into the broth and heat until the sauce thickens.
7. Serve the dill beef with boiled potatoes and vegetables.
