In this recipe, you will learn how to preserve fresh chanterelle mushrooms by freezing them. This method maintains the flavor and texture of the mushrooms well.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: Varies by type of mushroom
Ingredients:
- Fresh chanterelle mushrooms
- A splash of water (if needed)
Instructions:
1. Clean and chop the fresh chanterelles into suitable pieces.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a splash of water to prevent sticking, if necessary.
3. Add the chopped chanterelles to the skillet and heat them through. A light pre-cooking is sufficient, and you can leave the mushrooms in their own juices.

5. Allow the mushrooms to cool at room temperature before freezing.
6. Freeze the containers once the mushrooms are completely cooled.
