A simple yet delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the pasta is dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
