Ingredients:

- 9 lasagna sheets
- 400 g ground beef (or lamb)
- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 300 g ricotta cheese
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 100 g parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions:

1. Heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onions are soft.
2. Add ground meat to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
3. Pour crushed tomatoes into the pan and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
4. Pre-cook the lasagna sheets according to package instructions.
5. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil. Place a layer of lasagna sheets at the bottom.
6. Spread a layer of the meat mixture over the lasagna sheets, followed by ricotta cheese, and then a layer of mozzarella cheese.
7. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used. Finish with a layer of lasagna sheets and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow the lasagna to rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
