Lasagna alla Bolognese

A rich and comforting Italian dish with layers of pasta, meat sauce, and cheese. Preparation Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
- 9 lasagna sheets
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 100 ml red wine (optional)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 300 g ricotta cheese
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
2. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned.
4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
6. Spread a layer of the Bolognese sauce in a baking dish, followed by 3 lasagna sheets, a layer of ricotta, and more sauce. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used. Finish with sauce and sliced mozzarella on top.
7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
8. Bake the lasagna in the oven for about 30-40 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
9. Allow the lasagna to rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious meal!
