Preparation Time: 6 hours
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

- 800 g beef chuck
- 1-2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1-2 carrots
- 3 celery stalks
- 1/2 dl olive oil
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 2 dl red wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or oregano (optional)

Instructions:

1. Peel and chop the onions, garlic, carrots, and celery.

3. Cut the beef chuck into small cubes and add to the pot. Sear the meat on all sides.

5. Cover the pot with a lid and transfer it to the oven. Cook at 120°C (250°F) for about 6 hours.
6. Stir the sauce a few times during cooking to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
7. Serve the Bolognese with pasta or bread. You can garnish the dishes with fresh herbs.
