A delicious and slightly sweet Bolognese sauce perfectly paired with spaghetti.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- 250 g spaghetti
- 400 g ground beef (or a mixture)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and keep warm.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
3. Add the crushed garlic and ground beef. Cook until the meat is browned.
4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, and basil. Mix well.
5. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve the Bolognese sauce over the spaghetti and grate Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
